How to Use OSRS Dry Calculator

The OSRS Dry Calculator uses the geometric distribution, which models repeated independent Bernoulli trials with a fixed probability of success.
P(still dry after n kills) = (1 − p)^n
P(at least one drop in n kills) = 1 − (1 − p)^n
Expected KC = 1 / p
Dry multiple = n / (1 / p)

Each kill is assumed to be an independent trial with the same drop probability. The OSRS Dry Calculator does not account for dry-protection mechanics such as Zulrah’s drop table or Raids soft-pity systems. If the content you are farming has pity mechanics, your real odds of getting the drop are slightly better than the calculator shows.
Assumptions and Limits
The OSRS Dry Calculator assumes each attempt is independent with a fixed probability. For content with guaranteed-drop mechanics, streak protection, or multiple drop table rolls per kill, the displayed probability is a conservative lower bound. The thresholds (50 %, 75 %, 90 %, 95 %, 99 %) represent the number of kills at which cumulative probability reaches that level starting from zero.
