Estimated dose (mSv) = dose rate × source factor × exposure time (hours) × distance factor × shielding factor

The model uses an inverse-square distance approximation: distance factor = 1 ÷ distance². Shielding factor equals 1 minus shielding percentage. Source type is represented by a simplified multiplier, so the result is a planning estimate rather than a dosimeter reading.
