How to Use Audit Score Calculator
The Audit Score Calculator combines multiple audit metrics into one weighted score. Enter scores in order, such as 88,76,92, then enter matching weights, such as 30,25,45. The two lists must have the same number of values.
The result shows weighted score, metric count, total weight and a compact export summary. Give more important controls higher weights; use equal weights when all metrics should count the same.
Formula & Theory - Audit Score Calculator
Weighted scoring is often better than a plain average because critical controls, compliance risks or high financial-impact items should influence the total more strongly. The formula multiplies each score by its weight and divides by total weight.
Weights do not need to sum to 100. As long as their relative sizes are meaningful, the weighted average reflects priority.
Audit score = Σ(metric score × metric weight) / Σ(metric weight)
Use Cases for Audit Score Calculator
Use it for internal audit, vendor review, store inspections, security control testing, process maturity scoring and quality checks. It turns a metric table into a single communicable score.
