How to Use MapleStory Hyper Stat Calculator
The MapleStory Hyper Stat Calculator helps you figure out the best way to spend your Hyper Stat Points so you stop leaving damage on the table. Enter your character level, pick a play style, set your current stat levels with the sliders, and the MapleStory Hyper Stat Calculator instantly shows a recommended allocation table.
- Choose a mode — Select Optimize Current Build if you already have points invested and want to see where to put the rest, or Plan From Scratch to design an allocation from zero (ideal before a full reset).
- Enter your character level — The calculator computes your total available points (3 points per 10 levels above 140).
- Pick a play style — Bossing prioritizes Boss Damage, Ignore DEF, and Critical Damage. Training prioritizes EXP and Normal Monster Damage. Balanced spreads value across offense and utility. Custom lets you hand-pick which stats matter most.
- Set current levels — Drag each slider to match your in-game Hyper Stat levels. The MapleStory Hyper Stat Calculator will show how many points you have already spent and how many remain.
- Read the recommendation table — Each stat row shows the current level, the suggested target level, how many additional levels to add, and the point cost.
This tool is designed to reduce the manual lookup cost of building a Hyper Stat plan, especially when preparing for a full reset or theorycrafting a new character.
Formula & Theory - MapleStory Hyper Stat Calculator
The MapleStory Hyper Stat Calculator uses the following formulas:
Total Available Points = 3 × floor((Character Level − 130) / 10) [for level ≥ 140]
Cumulative Cost to reach level N = sum of per-level costs from 1 to N
Per-level cost table:
Lv 1: 1 Lv 2: 2 Lv 3: 4 Lv 4: 8 Lv 5: 10
Lv 6: 15 Lv 7: 20 Lv 8: 25 Lv 9: 30 Lv 10: 35
Lv 11: 50 Lv 12: 65 Lv 13: 80 Lv 14: 100 Lv 15: 120
Spent Points = sum of cumulative costs for all current stat levels
Remaining Points = Total Available Points − Spent Points
| Symbol | Meaning |
|---|---|
| N | Target Hyper Stat level (1–15) |
| Per-level cost | Points required to increase from level N−1 to N |
| Cumulative cost | Total points needed to reach level N from 0 |
The allocation algorithm is a greedy priority sweep: it iterates through stats in priority order and increases the highest-priority stat by one level whenever budget allows, repeating until no further allocations fit.
Assumptions and Limits
The per-level cost table and points-per-level formula are based on the standard KMS/GMS values as of 2024. Some older private servers or MSEA may use different tables. The maximum Hyper Stat level is 15. This calculator does not account for Hyper Stat Reset Coupons or bonus points from events.
Use Cases for MapleStory Hyper Stat Calculator
The MapleStory Hyper Stat Calculator is useful whenever you need a structured Hyper Stat build plan without manually cross-referencing cost tables. Common uses include:
- Pre-reset planning — Simulate the optimal build before spending a reset coupon, so you know exactly where each point goes.
- New character setup — Quickly determine the recommended level 200 or level 220 allocation for a freshly created character.
- Bossing optimization — Identify which stats (Boss Damage, Ignore DEF, Critical Damage) to max first for CRA, Lotus, Damien, or higher-tier content.
- Training build planning — Find the right mix of EXP gain and Normal Monster Damage to speed up leveling in Arcane River maps.
- Comparing play styles — Toggle between Bossing, Training, and Balanced modes to see how point distribution shifts and understand the trade-offs.
Use the results from the MapleStory Hyper Stat Calculator as a starting point, then adjust based on your class-specific damage formula, current equipment bonuses, and Arcane Symbol levels.
