Choose a beverage preset, enter volume, select mL or fl oz, and enter alcohol by volume percentage. Use the actual pour size rather than the container label if the serving was split or oversized. ABV should be entered as a percentage, not a decimal.
The result displays standard drinks and grams of pure alcohol. If fl oz is selected, volume is converted to milliliters before applying the density calculation. Volume and ABV must be positive, and ABV cannot exceed 100 percent. When fl oz is selected, the calculator converts to mL before applying ethanol density.
