How to Use the Event Risk Calculator - Coronavirus & HIV Denver Risk Score
Enter age, coronavirus contact level, symptoms, travel, chronic condition status, and masking. Then complete the HIV exposure inputs: sexual exposure type, partner count, PrEP use, needle exposure, and recent STI.
The calculator creates separate coronavirus and HIV subscores, then averages them into an overall risk signal. It is a transparent triage-style model, not a replacement for testing or post-exposure care.
Formula and Method - Event Risk Calculator - Coronavirus & HIV Denver Risk Score
Overall risk = (coronavirus exposure subscore + HIV exposure subscore) ÷ 2
The coronavirus subscore weighs contact, symptoms, travel, chronic disease, age, and masking. The HIV subscore weighs sexual exposure, partner count, needle exposure, STI history, and PrEP protection. Protective factors subtract points before scores are clamped to 0–100.
